Wonders of the Web

Even the smallest of businesses can benefit from a well-managed web presence.  These days, the internet replaces the phone book for a lot of shoppers.  Every day, hundreds [if not thousands] of potential clients and customers in your area are looking for a business like yours online.  If you're not there, they won't find you.

Your website doesn't have to be an elaborate multi-media manifestation of your brick and mortar location, but it should offer some basic info:  location, products and/or services, hours of operation, etc.  It should also represent the 'flavor' of your location.  An upscale bridal boutique probably shouldn't use a rustic style, and a vintage store is not best served by an ultra-modern theme.

Don't worry.  This project won't cost you a fortune.  There are plenty of local web designers and small business marketing firms to help you take advantage of the options and get your business found on the internet.  You'll be glad you took the time to investigate the options.
